1.) Nivea Milk & Honey Lip Balm
We are gonna start this blog off with a bang an introduce you to the best lip balm that they have out there, the Nivea Milk & Honey Lip Balm. This thing is gold sent from the heavens above. I like the milk and honey flavor because it smells like what a homemade herbal tea should probably smell like and I appreciate that.
2.) Hempz Spun Sugar and Vanilla Bean Lotion
Another beauty product scent from the heavens. If Hempz is ever looking for a sponsor, make sure that you contact ya girl! If I could buy everything from this whole line, I definitely would. My favorite smell is the spun sugar and vanilla bean because it smells so warm and light but also has a kick. I would like to think that that is how others describe me so me and this lotion have a lot in common.
3.) Smoothie Oat, Sugar & Shea Breakfast Scrub from Soap & Glory
Next on my top list of FAVE February beauty products is this wonderful body scrub that my mom got me for a Valentines Day present. For some reason, everytime I see this brand in stores, I'm instantly drawn to it because of the bright pink lettering but then INSTANTLY turned off right away because of the....bright pink lettering. I thought this brand was gonna be one that looks like it talks the talk but can't walk the walk and something you would buy the 7 year old in your life that is getting interested in "beauty". But I was surprisingly wrong! This scrub has not only become my favorite scrub, but I actually can ignore all of the pink things on the logo as well because it feels and smells so delicious. If you couldn't tell, I cannot stand the color pink. Anyway, next time you are in Walgreens or any beauty store and you see this puppy, swipe it up and give it a try. You will thank me later.
4.) Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea
Now, before you think of me as some beauty blogger wannabe, I did not buy this for myself so you CANNOT come for me. I received this as a gift from some of my besties for my birthday and had seen it all over the internet, on blogging channels, and well EVERYWHERE. At first when I started using it, I didn't really understand the hype but now that I have been consistent with it and didn't give up on it when I thought I was just wasting my time spraying something on my face, I was happily PLEASED. I have to admit, I have great skin. I have never had issues with acne, oiliness, breakouts, blemishes or anything like that sort and that's one attribute that I have been lucky to grab from the Lord himself. BUT I do have CRAZY dry skin in the winter. Aka, now. I thought, "what if I not only spray this puppy on my face after my shower and then before I go to bed, I bet it would help out a lot with my itchy dry skin." BOOM BANG CHICKEN CHANG I was correct! So if you are like me and get incredibly dry itchy skin in this CO winter weather, this should be a HUGE shelf grab for you!
5.) Ardell Fake Lashes Wispies
Let me just say I am not one to come forth and know what the heck I am doing when it comes to makeup. It actually stresses me out when I see how many things on the shelves in the makeup section and how many uses that those things have. I honestly gave myself three things to just work on daily that don't require a lot of attention that both does not take a lot of time but also makes me look better than a cup of oatmeal. I have chosen, my brows, my teeth, and my eyelashes to focus on everyday. The rest of my face is history. I used to get eyelash extensions but couldn't keep up on refills but loved waking up and leaving the house and not doing a thing AND looking like a female at the same time. It was AWESOME. But then I realized that it required a lot of upkeep and a lot of money that I didn't have to help upkeep and that sent me to this conclusion here. I am still learning how to glue these babies down correctly so it doesn't look like it's falling off my face but besides that, I love the real and full look it gives me without really spending a lot of time on my face because you and I both know, this baby can't be saved. I have also realized that I love the feeling off pulling these suckers off at night before bed and that is also why I put them on. The feeling I get when I take these off actually brings me so much joy.
