Us girlies love our Starby’s and there are two new spring drinks to try, the new iced lavender cream oat milk matcha topped with lavender cream cold foam and the iced lavender oat milk latte.
People are still struggling from the flooding that took place back in January and are still trying to get back on their feet. Some people lost everything and it was just announced this weekend, anybody with an i.d. showing they live in flooded areas can go down to National City and FOR FREE they can pick up tables, desks, cabinets and chairs. The event will take place tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 205 East 8th street.
There is a 9-year-old girl, named Lucy who is pushing to get the roads in La Jolla repaired. She even wrote a letter to the city demanding valid reaonsing as to why the roads haven’t been repaired. She is calling it a safety hazard and a bad look for the city. As of now she is still waiting on a response from the city but plans to keep advocating for better roads. And I just wanted to shout her out because to be 9 year-old and already trying to make a difference in her community she is going to do amazing things as she grows up.
