Country music rising star, Ashley McBryde is making waves again, but this time itโs not on the radio. Instead, its television! Ashley has been nominated for her first Daytime Emmy Award.
The โGirl Goin Nowhereโ singer, recently tweeted โHoly crap! What is life right now!?! Thank you so much @DaytimeEmmys, @CBSThisMorning Saturday, @AnthonyMasonCBSโ after discovering that she had been nominated for a 2019 Day Emmy Award for her performance on โCBS This Morning Saturday.โ
Ashley is nominated for the โOutstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Programโ category alongside Isreal & Adrienne Houghton, Lindsey Stirling, the cast of Broadwayโs The Band, and Ben Rector. Ashleyโs CBS This Morning Saturday appearance took place in late December where she performed three songs: "Girl Goin' Nowhere," "El Dorado" and "American Scandal." All three tracks come from her Grammy-nominated debut album, 'Girl Going Nowhere.โ
The 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on May 5th at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. A complete list of nominees can be seen HERE.
